Dow ends 1.3K pts up on COVID-19 bill optimism.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained over 1,300 points at the end of Thursday's trade after United States House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi assured the public that she is "certain" the $2 trillion coronavirus economic stimulus bill will have bipartisan support in Congress. Meanwhile, the US offered $15 million for the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro while senators threatened Saudi Arabia with sanctions over the ongoing oil price war.The Dow ended 6.24% higher. The Nasdaq 100 finished 5.72% in the green. The S&P 500 gained 6.15% at the close.
