Wirecard was “looted” before declaring insolvency, according to German prosecutors. That’s actually a good news to me. That means the company was in fact profitable. That means this company could be bought out. Hold on to your shares.

Based on a continuity plan, we will focus our efforts on reaching our established goals as quickly as possible. In doing so, we have full support from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) as well as Visa and Mastercard. Sufficient financial and human ressources are at our disposal for that aim. We are working hard to integrate important business sectors and functions of the Wirecard Group into our business processes at Wirecard Bank AG.Our Management Board is working closely with the preliminary insolvency administrator for the affected entities, Dr. Michael Jaffé. Through this successful cooperation, we have already been able to find interested parties for the core business.The result of this process will be released in the coming weeks.
